FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Eyelash extensions can last around 3 to 4 weeks with proper care, but retention varies from person to person. Proper application, your natural lash cycle, lifestyle and and aftercare can all affect how long your extensions last.
I recommend scheduling an eyelash extension fill every 2 to 3 weeks to keep them looking their best. Some clients can comfortably go a little longer depending on their natural natural lash cycle, lifestyle ad how well they can care for their lashes at home. Since everyone sheds differently, your ideal fill schedule may be different from someone else's.
When properly applied and cared for, eyelash extensions should not damage your natural lashes. Damage can occur from improper application, extensions that are too heavy, or picking, pulling and twisting at your lashes at home.
Yes, you can wear mascara with eyelash extensions, but most clients find they don't need it since the extensions already add length and fullness. If you do wear mascara, choose a washable, non- waterproof formula that can be easily removed. Avoid waterproof mascara, since it can be difficult to fully remove from your extensions. If you wear Volume or Mega Volume lashes, keep in mind that mascara can close the fans and change their soft, fluffy appearance.
Clean your eyelash extensions regularly with a cleanser made for lash extensions and a soft cleansing brush or lint-free cleansing pad. I recommend being gentle with your lashes and avoiding picking, pulling or twisting them. Keeping your lashes clean and caring for them properly at home can help support better retention and keep your extensions looking their best between fills.
Classic lashes use one extension per natural lash for a more natural, defined look. Hybrid lashes combine Classic extensions with lightweight Volume fans to create a beautiful mix of definition, fullness and texture. Volume lashes use lightweight fans made with multiple fine extensions to create a fuller, fluffier look. Mega Volume uses larger fans made with ultra-fine, lightweight extensions for the darkest, fullest and most dramatic look.
Lash & Dash is an express lash system I created using professionally applied lash segments designed to last about a week. The segments are applied using a specialized adhesive (no sticky cluster glue), so they can be comfortably worn, cleansed and cared for throughout the week. Lash & Dash is a temporary lash service and is different from traditional individual eyelash extensions.
